Masterplan
Integration
Cherry Hinton North will be integrated with the local area. A new tree-lined avenue will link Coldhams Lane at the south west of the site with Cherry Hinton Road in the east. This avenue will be a bus route and will include separate lanes for bikes. The development will provide new schools, shops and community facilities that will serve existing and future residents.

Conservation
As well as creating new landscapes, the designs will retain and enhance the public rights of way, watercourse, mature trees, and leafy boundaries within the site.
Identity
Cherry Hinton North will be visibly rooted in the surrounding area. The new homes will be organised into small neighbourhoods, each with their own character. At the heart of the site will be a village green and market square. The proposed buildings and landscape designs will have locally inspired and contemporary details while using traditional and lasting materials.
