In Summer 2022, the project team consulted local residents and stakeholders on the first development parcel for the overall project which helped to inform a now submitted reserved matters application. The consultation period is now closed, and the team would like to thank everyone who engaged with the consultation and left their feedback. All of the feedback has been carefully considered by the project team and helped to inform the final submission documents. You can view the reserved matters consultation information below.
Introduction
Welcome to the public consultation website for the development proposals at Land North of Cherry Hinton. As many will already be aware, Cherry Hinton North was granted planning permission in December 2020 when Marshall Group (representing the owners of Cambridge City Airport) and Endurance Estates Strategic Land owned the land. Following the outline approval for 1,200 homes, a local centre and new school buildings, the site was bought by a joint venture between Bellway Homes and Latimer Developments in Spring 2021.
Bellway Latimer Cherry Hinton LLP are now preparing to submit a Reserved Matters Application for the first phase of the development. On this website, you can learn more about the project team and what we are proposing as well as having the opportunity to share your feedback. All feedback will be collated and analysed before the application is finalised and submitted to the council.
